Twenty Years Later: A League of Their Own

A League of Their Own is twenty years old this month. The story of an all-girls professional baseball team filling in for the boys during WWII is a movie that never fails to make me smile and it is all the more inspiring that it is based on the true story of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League Players Association. Incidentally, I recently met Geena Davis at work and she is still beautiful twenty years later. Now if only I could meet Tom Hanks & Stilwell!

Too Fab posted a "Then & Now" gallery of the cast. The updates on Tom Hanks & Madonna are perhaps unnecessary but the others are fascinating to see including the realization that the actress who played Marla Hooch is quite attractive & the child actor who played Stilwell works in athletics!

There's no crying in baseball!

This Used to Be my Playground
A Song About nostalgia that hopefully will make you nostalgic as well!

And, of course, one final image...
